More than Memory
The story of a man.
A man who is my father.
A man who before being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at age 57 had a comfortable understanding with the notion of being.
I bring my camera home when I visit to record our adventures and the evolution of our relationship.
My father and his story are very important as he copes with these changes.
His inability to work and provide at the level he once was is forcing him to just be himself and do the things he truly enjoys.
He rides his bike in the mountains, walks for miles, and makes a point to cast his reel in the local waters as much as possible.
I admire his positivity.
